Heros and Hotdogs

Caleb is the king of wanting to accomplish everything life has to offer... and RIGHT NOW!

Morph suits
In fact I am pretty sure he will have done everything there is to do by the time he leaves our home. He truly is my superstar.

Caleb wants a morph suit for break-dancing... maybe I should get him one with a big C on it. :)

Last week Caleb auditioned for the Utah Youth Symphony on viola.

Sooooo... without further anticipation I will say...  "How many extra tickets do you want, when his first recital comes?!" He is in!

Now this does add a bit more on to our week.

Practices are in North Orem at 4pm once weekly.

Way to get the ladies!!!!
But luckily since Brandon works the next city up in American Fork, I drop Caleb off at 4 and Brandon picks him up at 6 on his way home from work.

J-dawg now has the whole parking lot!
Then it is J-dawg time!

Last Tuesday, I had to move all my plants from my old BYU greenhouse to my new BYU greenhouses.

I am sooooo glad to be done with the 1920's version of old greenhouses.  My new ones are computerized!  I can set heat, clocks, lights, fans, humidity, and even set when to open the shade awnings on the ceilings.
Inside & outside J-dawgs new & old building!

In the other greenhouse, I had to get on a ladder and hang shade cloth. If I went at night I had to bring a flashlight.  It flooded if I didn't turn the main water line off every time, and I had to go and set the heaters when it snowed.

All the dawg rave! Get in line!
SO as you can imagine I am in HEAVEN!!!

Anyway, since my little family helped me do all the moving, and Caleb came straight from Symphony try-outs, he not only helped move in church clothes, but was without dinner, so we went to J-dawgs, and now Caleb says it should be his "Tuesday Night Tradition".

There is another thing about my amazing son... he is sooooo sentimental that sometimes, Brandoneous and I have to laugh.  Thus the making of a "tradition" so quickly!

Seriously, Caleb gets upset if I have to throw a pair of his boxers out, because they are "special".

Oh and don't get me started on his "hand-blanky" (a woobie with a hand print pattern).

He only lets me wash it in distilled water so the material won't disintegrate more than it already has... you can seriously see the batting through the material it is so thin now.

But I must say, that Mister Jacob was worse!!!

I remember driving to his daycare and asking a janitor to PLLLEEEEEEASE let me in because it was a Friday and there was nooooooo way Jacob could function for a whole weekend without his woooooobie!  BTW... Jake may not tell his friends, but he still has it.... keeps it under his quilt, down by his feet, so no one knows it is there... but I do!

Congrats Caleb on you new triumph!!! You are a hero (as Grandma Fae would say!)

So we call Brandon the "Crimson Chin" as a superhero name, in our house. (Or Mr. Incredible when he pushes a kid on the swing and they fly off it at 35 mph [NJ! Poor Rainy!].., or when he closes something and breaks it.) Like on Fairly Odd Parents!  ... because of his chin... what should Caleb's name be?
